I can't really express how I feel. I am in a foreign nation and surrounded by people I consider my friends, albeit friends that have been suckered in by fascists. Those that expect to be discharged from the service don't seem to understand that it's entirely reasonable to expect instead that they will instead be issued an M-16 and told to fight in a war they don't understand.
Hindisght being 20/20, Kerry was not a strong candidate and a strong candidate would have steamrolled the President. As a student of such things, I am encouraged that the campaign sent out Senator Edwards to make the last speech of the night. For those of you who don't read so much into such things- that was his annointation as the golden child and next big thing.
At the end of the day, all the advice I have is- if you are not enrolled in school, figure out a way to do so or you very well might be amongst the next wave fighting for Falluhjah.
