Tell me how this happens

I've heard of losing socks in the washer or dryer, and even coming home with bits of laundry that aren't yours (happens to me all the time, and usually involves colorful ankle socks), but never have I managed to lose a pair of pants while doing laundry.

O new grey yoga pants that I only got to wear three times, where are you?

Look down.

I'm not being hateful, shug, I'm serious. I thought I'd lost a pair of workout pants in the laundry and ran through the house freaking out, only to discover that there they were, lounging around on my big ol' butt.

I blame journalism for my dead brain cells. You can, too.

Hope you find them, wherever they may roam.

(Hey, could Felix have crawled into them and scurried under the bed for some peace and quiet? Or maybe the Kittehs are using them to escape out the window.)

I lost a Predators t-shirt that Lonnie gave me at a laundromat, and I miss it everyday.

Grandefille, haha, I looked and they weren't down there. There's no telling where they are now but THEY'RE NOT ON ME so I am PISSED!! Also, sad.

KHall, he gave you the shirt AT a laundromat, so it was just hanging out, neglected, in a dryer somewhere? Awesome! I've always wanted to go shopping at a laundromat.

Wait, I just reread that and now I get that you lost it AT a laundromat. I was hoping he'd given it to you at a laundromat, and then you'd lost it. Either way, sucks that it's gone.

No, not your fault, linners, that was my poor grammar putting prepositional phrases in the wrong spot. At least I think it's a prepositional phrase...
