Day 60 — Martyrs
Like a moron, I headed downtown to the riverfront to try to catch the big storm roll in so I could take my daily photo (see how I risk my life for art?!!?), but when I got there, it was overcast but bright out. Not nearly as dark and foreboding as it had been earlier. And now I see they've canceled the tornado watch.
Crisis averted, and I still got my picture (memorial at Martyrs park).

Yeah, we got jipped out of the storm, too.
In my old age, I have to say I'm glad that the storm skipped us.
The good people of Enterprise, Ala., however, weren't quite so lucky. What an awful story.
