Friends don't waste wine when there's words to sell
I had a lengthy weekend recap post typed up, but I decided I'd keep it for myself because not everything — even the good stuff — belongs on the blog. Some things are just for me. The important thing is that I had a great time. Amanda's surprise birthday shindig was a rawkin' good time. Joey's dirty T-shirt was scandalous. Kristin was a fabulous, generous host and, despite Alvy's altruistic efforts to chew up one of my credit cards, I spent waaaay too much money on drinks and food. I love it when a vacation actually feels like one.
It was awesome to see everyone, and it was a different kind of awesome to be in Nashville and see growth in every direction.
I'll let the photos tell the story; I'm spent.

Alvy was a terror. He always is when company is over. I'm sure your ferrets would never try and eat something important of mine.
Nooo! He was so good. He was quiet when I was trying to sleep, he provided me with tons of entertainment while I blow-dried my hair, and he wanted to write so bad that he kept stealing your pens off the table.
The pee incident can slide because he was excited about all the ruckus, I'm sure, and, well, we all let a little slip when we get too excited, am I right?
He was an angel. Look at his picture. Awwwww.
