One reason I wish I was still in school

This sounds like it was so much fun.

But I never had a professor or a group of classmates that (openly) cool.

OK then, may I assume that the Midtown move has begun to work the way I predicted? Lot of new names in the Blogroll...By the way, for the parents, I'd just take them to my favorite places, period. But if you do wind up at Graceland, leave time for Sun Studio as well. They go together like peanut butter and bananas.

Wellll, a blogroll does not a social life make.

As for my favorite places, I guess I could convince them to sit by the river and listen to Cat Power on my iPod.

I'm a dork.

There's a lot to be said for sitting by the mighty Mississip. But maybe not for folks who live by the mighty Tennessee. Last posting from Mexico. Lo siento estaba molestando ese semana.

Oh, and e-mails do not a friendship make either. That takes things like, oh, lunches and driving round the city and remembering birthdays and going to concerts and sharing actual moments in each other's lives. To some it's as natural as breathing. In November I was blinded by what I thought was gold. That it was, but not for the taking; it had long since been picked up, tucked in bags and aprons and turned into precious trinkets. Lo siento que te estaba molestando.
