There is so much that is completely unbelievable about this story, from the hoop earrings to the smack in the head with a wet floor mop sign. And yet, its on CNN, so I must believe its true.

i think the police officer on COPS said it best, when asked what he liked about his job: "i like the predictability of this job. you always know to expect the unexpected."

when i did my police ride-along back in september, we got a call to a housefire in cooper-young (the barksdale-felix vicinity) and upon entering the home, the firemen, policemen and i found burning food on the stove, the remnants of a damn good party, and a twentysomething dude naked on the bed, legs akimbo, passed out COLD with a penis pump still attached - completely oblivious to the crowd of snickering adults (and barking dog) in his presence.

um, yes. true story. i saw it with my very own eyes.
