I'm highly suspicious of people who say things like, "Boy, it just gets earlier and earlier every year, ahyuck!"

It doesn't. If it did, we'd be celebrating it for most of the year once the creep-up logged a decade or so. And who can honestly say he or she hates twinkly lights and jingle bells?

You know what I hate? Love. Now there's a bullshit thing to celebrate.
