love the texture on this one. Good angle as well.

Just out of curiousity, where, generally, does Palm Tree Cove blogger reside? I assumed first it was Memphis, but then realized, probably not, based on your blogroll sections.

Not trying to STALK, just curious!

Thanks, John! The old Sears building in Midtown is such a towering force of decaying art deco beauty that I just about can't stand it.

PT, I'm gonna let you field John's question about your locale, as I'm not sure if you're trying to keep it secret or not.

Discuss.

Just to be really clear..I am asking GENERAL location as opposed to a GPS Longitude/Latitude reading that I could program into a GPS device IF I had said device, which i don't but i have to admit, it may be a guy thing, but I'm thinking that would be fun toy.

I really don't need a street address, lol. According to the lyrics, John Lennon was just a jealous guy..John Hutcheson on the other hand, is just a curious guy.

I'm thinking that PTC is a fellow MTSUer???

Thanks for the consideration, LT!

Actually I do live in Nashville. I did attend MTSU for one semester, but that was after LT had graduated and moved to Memphis. She and I went to high school together, and middle school together, and knew each other all the way back to third grade in our Explorers class. Our story is actually an intriguing one. But, back to your question, I live in Nashville. And, speaking of John Lennon, he and I share a birthday.

PT, with your permission, one of these days I'm going to post Our Story. I will probably need your help remember details, cuz I suck like that.

I spent last night rummaging through my photos for that Polaroid of your mom and my dad that you gave me, to no avail. It's here somewhere, I just have to buckle down and look through every single cluster of loose photos to find it.

I feel like I really need that photo to illustrate the post, you know?

God, I had forgotten about that! There is a Polaroid! Holy crap, I've forgotten what it looks like!

The details are sketchy in places, but I do remember I was in flip flops at the fair when The Shit Hit The Fan. And I'll never forget the two of us standing there, wide eyed and young, looking at each other.

ME: Did you know?
YOU: No! Did you know?
ME: Uh-uh!

Ahh, post away. What a story!
