Uh, yeah, me neither
Do you ever wonder if your cats are reincarnated versions of your dead relatives?

My dad is still convinced that the cat we had when I was growing up was Henry Ford, reincarnated. I was all "Why? Did he throw vaguely racist hoedowns in the back yard?" but my dad didn't find that as funny as I did.
The cat did, however, only pay attention to people when they were working on cars; then he was right up there under the hood with them, looking at stuff.
I had a cat (Pookey) who did the same thing. She was originally an outdoor cat and would jump up on the fender of the car while we were working on it and head butt you. I think the indoor counterpart to that is the cat who wants to get up on your keyboard while you are on the computer.
No, but I inherited a cat after my best friend was murdered a couple of years ago and I'm pretty sure she possesses him from time to time.
No, but right after my grandmother died I went outside to investigate some really loud meowing. In my driveway was a cat that looked EXACTLY like the one she had that died in the hurricane. I was convinced that it was her.
I haven't seen that cat since either.
These are all excellent stories, everyone! Thanks for sharing. I'm glad to know we're all more or less crazy when it comes to our ideas about cats. Hee hee.
what's the latest on Jack ?
